Rodney Rodney ME old hand Registered: 06/09/08 Posts: 1069 Loc: NY, USA	I had been dreading a five day long total immersion 24/7 scientific conference with more than 200 scientists outside of my own disciplinary area (in fact I was the only token speaker for what I am). Instead, the exerience was excellent and I returned to my room after my prime-time lecture to discover an email invitation to do a review paper for a journal. I decided to use the conference immersion field to develop hybrid information between what I do and the conference topic, I then interfolded the two pieces into something quite new. Over the past seven days the paper literally wrote itself and a decent draft is already done (even Janice pronounced it as decent - a rare rating for a first draft). It was a really useful exmaple of drawing upon that conference's morphic field and using a template to develop a whole new topic for a paper....plus the paper then just flowed out of me in almost spontaneous writing. It is interesting to read your post about your useful interactions with the morphic field of a group of people at a conference. I had a similar experience yesterday. Yesterday I attended a national conference that was being held in my city. I signed up for day long session in a "field" in which I have been taking part time masters level courses for the last two years while working full time in my own "field". It was fascinating for me to experience being in the room with a group of seasoned professionals (and a handful of students like myself) who are all focused on the type of work I am hoping to pursue when I complete my degree. I consciously opened up and connected to the morphic field of the collection of professionals in the room and then I tried to match my vibration with theirs. It felt really exhilarating and empowering. Once you learn about morphic fields and really start working and playing with them, life gets so much more interesting!! This makes me think that if people are affected by morphic fields whether they are aware of it or not, than it is probably to everyone's benefit to be careful about the type of morphic fields we expose ourselves to. _________________________ <-><-><-><-><-> What I notice, I become M.E. Good observations about your conference! Yes. Entangled stuff is why when I work with clients, I often end up asking...how much of this is yours? We sometimes have to sort that out before going deeper into a client's patterns. With last weeks' science conference, I felt I could not stop writing until I had a first draft (because it was literally flowing.) It was not really their stuff flowing but it was my take on their and my prior stuff combined in a powerful flow. I did not want to lose the tight connection I had for "accessing and understanding the details of their science so well" until I had my take fully constructed into an almost ready to submit manuscript. Janice writes that way sometimes as well. It is amazing it took less than a week to prepare a sizable review which also invovled more days of conference, a day driving back home and other work once I was back home. It was among my fastest manscripts in preparation and yet among the ones most unrelated and novel to any I have ever done. So going with the flow (of a useful morphic field) can be good, I think?
