The gardening story was in one of Richard's books if I remember correctly.
Can you tell it again- Rodney cut the grass instantly?
Ha, I wish.....It was "uncut the grass" instantly (in some kind of geometric formation like a mini-crop circle. Only this was where the grass grew up instantly in one section while we were away at the grocery store rather than it being flattened or a section cut out). It served me right for two pointing a message magnet (that I had placed under a napkin while waiting in the car) The magnet read: "don't find your life, create it."
Janice was just pointing out that the wood pile going away during my breaks was probably more useful than the transformation resulting in me having to cut part of our lawn TWICE. (Because I just had to see if anything would happen if I two pointed the message magnet). But if I ever question whether ME works, the uncut piece of lawn is a rather good frame of reference for me.
The other lawn-cutting ME-related "thing" was that most of one prior (probably 2009) summer, the gas can remained always half full (lawn cut after cut). I would go out certain the can had to be empty since it had been half full before I filled the lawnmower and cut the grass the time before. But every time I picked up the can to fill the lawmower, it was half full and I had the needed gas (so no run to the gas staion before cutting the grass) Now to figure out how to do that with the car.
I can add that cutting the grass instantly (while we were away) did happen to us ONCE. However, it was when a lawn service put the wrong address on an employee's labor form and he cut our lawn instead of a customer's, down the block. Still, it was a nice suprise. (Wonder if that can happen regularly?)
