NIA is the best of the best took my white belt training in Pullman Washington at the Bliss Studio from Danielle Eastman watch this video as it explains the joy and happiness we get from NIA

robert1 robert1 ME old hand Registered: 09/27/11 Posts: 717	morning Fritz Oh how i loved NIA I took it many years ago when it first started in a studio in Ballard how fun it was it combines afrikan dance, tai chi and all sorts of other modalities and what was awesome was the instructor said there is no right way or wrong way to do it just get up and start moving would it not be great if dance and yoga and tai chi could be introduced into the schools for the little ones. There is a great place in Ballard called Gymboree where moms take their little ones and they move and dance together. I also read a book by Louise the only and only Louise who said wouldnt it be great that in the schools they taught children about values, self respect and how to love their bodies and each other and healthy food what the public school system is serving the kids is pretty gruesome thanks Fritz you are pretty awesome how young r u about 20 something ...love terry

robert1 robert1 ME old hand Registered: 09/27/11 Posts: 717	intomatrix working on this one being when u coming 2 the states Im listening to Fritz's song he posted How Great Thou Art crying like a idiot u know we are all so vulnerable - this man came up to my cart yesterday I was pushing scalloped potatoes he was 30 or 40 something single and he really really liked these stupid potatoes and he was like a little kid he said dont know Im working I said leave them in your car then he went and got two and one other thing he walked back up to me and said with wide huge eyes look look I got two and I got this too and he had to show me chicken breasts stuffed with something he was like 5 excited as hell about scalloped potatoes and chicken breasts stuffed with something and I started bawling like crazy I said im really glad you are so excited and its really good you got all this good food to eat and kept bawling way to go baker we are vulnerable you know even if we act like its all together life is so precious and yes it continues but it feels like crap for the people left behind intomatrix when you come to the states let me know the keg is on me

Thus it's not a process of learning , It's a process of unlearning . If we hang around Matrix for a bit we find that "truth" is made up according to the reality and beliefs of the person. I'm just expressing the strong distinction between awakening/enlightenment and the rest . Saladin I don't quite get what you mean here. However It does appear that it might be left brain working here. When something is hard difficult it is usually left brain operating and getting in the way. Making distinctions is pure left brain stuff. Strong distinctions even more locked into left brain. In Matrix we learn to use our right brains at times and that makes things a whole lot easier. Actually I am completely un-interested in awakening and ascension since it is somewhat pie in the sky--airy--fairy and not so measurable. the happier-healthier-wealthier mantra seems more useful to me simply because it is measurable and effective.

In the sense that it is the ONLY way to be enlightened. What do I mean? Like Sri Baghavan (the master of Doug in the video who gave him the Deeksha) said that there are those who "learn" about awakening and those who "experience" it. Awakening is not about learning stuff, it's about feeling the state of ONENESS. When you raise your Kundalini, the ME/NOT ME dissolve and you become ONE with everything around you. Now THAT is awakening. Learning a new healing technique or learning a thing or 2 about yourself is nice but that's not awakening because you don't know that everything around you is the same, you still have this ME/NOT ME activated, you is you and everything around you is NOT you and this means that you have not awaken yet. CD
