I synchronously found out about Matrix Energetics a few days ago by listening to archives on the Contact Talk Radio website. I have been obsessed with listenting to EVERY ONE! I don't want to go to work, or sleep! I am so excited I that I am quaking inside! This feels like something I have been waiting for, something I already know, but need to remember! I am devouring the website, radio archives, and message boards. I plan to attend a seminar as soon as I can get things arranged to be there! I live in Wisconsin. Is there anyone who has already taken the seminars who lives nearby? I tried to get the practitioner list from those postings, but couldn't seem to find the most recent one. I am new to forums, and still must learn the ropes! I look forward to meeting some of you soon! I have been working with energy and beliefs for a while, but haven't found a satisfactory way to express what I know inside of me, and especially to impact other people in a positive and powerful way. I always felt that their belief systems were stronger than mine, I guess, because they have more "agreement"! I have been doing energy work for many years, and have actually gotten some results, but nothing like I am reading about here! I have actually been in tears reading some of the forums here, and I am not even sure why! Something deep within me knows that this sonnection signals a profound change for my life! Thanks you, everyone, for all of your heartfelt sharings. I am actually feeling some fear about posting this, because it is a commitment to change, growth and expansion, and moving out of my comfort zone! Am I ready? I must be, or I wouldn't be here doing this! Here goes!!! Auriel

Bah, you're the one that makes it work aren't ya? I mean it doesn't really have to do with the particular system, or even agreement. In that other thread about magic in the level 3 forum, where I got myself out of this funk I've been in just by replying, we've been talking about this point that the form doesn't really matter. Even as far as agreement goes, it does seem someone is strong when they can do something that's way out of the agreed upon consensus reality I guess, but it seems to me that isn't about this one person being really strong vs. others, but rather it's like they are free from the consensual reality and tapped into their magical nature, whereas everyone else in this agreement is just kind of playing the same old game, consciously or unconsciously. But if you're going to play, why stick so closely to the rules? I mean the spirit of play isn't exactly this anal retentive authoritarian adherence to a specific way, but it's free and alive and all of that. It's like the difference between playing a game of chess properly and using the pieces like action figures or something. On the surface one might say that person doesn't know how to play the game, but in a deeper sense if you get hung up on how the chess set is used it's like you don't know how to play, period. So I think if anything the best gift you can give to someone is to rub off that playfulness rather than achieving a desired outcome, because then they can tap into the same magical nature instead of depending on the rules of any game.

We need to get into the sense of how magickal and united with the All we are or at least can be. This is not about performing some technique or ritual blindly and roboticaly; it is about the liberation to play in the way that our individual Spirit calls us to. I like the idea of playing Chess like action figures, it would give me the chance to overcome my fatigues or at least Camo-flog myself into some new state which hopefuly could be highly useful or at least spectacuarly entertaining.
